Overview

Kenneth Johnson, RFC has been serving the seniors in the West Texas area since 1984.  He is dedicated to assisting clients in the following areas:  Probate Avoidance, Applying for Veteran's Aid and Attendance Benefits for long term care at home or in a community.  Medicaid qualification, Protecting Assets from Medicaid Spend-down, Living Trust Planning, Assisted Living Financial Planning, Funeral Trusts and Long Term Care Insurance. 

Education

Kenneth entered the Financial Services industry in 1983 after receiving his insurance and securities licenses.  Throughout his many years as a financial advisor, Kenneth has completed various educational courses along with continuing education courses covering different aspects of financial planning including being certified, in 1998, as a Certified Estate Planning Professional (CEPP).  In December of 2006, Kenneth was awarded the coveted Certified Annuity Specialist Designation (CAS).  In 2009, Kenneth became a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), that requires the Series 65 securities license.  In 2010, Kenneth received the Registered Financial Consultant designation (RFC).  Also in 2010, he became an Accredited Medicaid Planner and is associated with The Medicaid Planning Network.  This training was by the well known attorney and Medicaid book author, Gabriel Heiser. 

Associations

Kenneth is an approved member of the National Ethics Association (NEA), an independent organization of insurance and financial advisors who maintain an exemplary record of business ethics.  Kenneth's company, West Texas Senior Resources, is also a member of the Better Business Bureau of The South Plains and The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.
